At ‘SchlaU’ School about 300 young refugees are taught in up to 20 classes and thereby guided to complete their secondary school education. Since its foundation 20 years ago, the project which is operated by Trägerkreis Junge Flüchtlinge e. V. has been developing steadily. Meanwhile, the school’s program goes beyond the two-year job integration and this is exactly where the support of Arvantis Group comes in: With the funding, outstanding students are given the opportunity to gain further qualifications with ‘Mittlere Reife’ (secondary school leaving certificate) as part of a special program, the so-called “M-Zug”, and thereby take advantage of individual educational perspectives.

Alexander Samwer, Managing Director and founder of Arvantis Group, comments:

“Future starts with education. I am pleased that we can give Trägerkreis Junge Flüchtlinge e. V. / SchlaU a helping hand so that 12 students will complete their secondary education this year and thus qualify for higher education, high school graduation or even a university degree.”

Jeremias Heinrich, Managing Director and founder of Arvantis Group, comments:

“With its concept SchlaU follows a very special approach. With our support we are able to make a small contribution to the future of this important institution and promote equal opportunities.”

Michael Stenger, Founder and Executive Manager Trägerkreis Junge Flüchtlinge e.V. / SchlaU:

“We have been committed to creating better living conditions for young refugees via education and personality development for over 20 years. Within a strong long-standing partnership, Arvantis Group supports us in paving the way for our students towards a self-determined future.”
